Physalia is built differently: every piece is developed to let structure support softness rather than restrict it, through internal boning, natural materials, considered seaming, and refined finishing. Garments are produced in small batches against confirmed wholesale and client orders rather than held as standing inventory, allowing craftsmanship, not volume, to remain at the center of the process.

Physalia is working toward giving each garment its own identity — connecting a specific piece to details about its materials, construction, and origin that stay with it beyond the point of sale. It’s part of a longer-term direction as the brand grows, not a finished feature yet.

The idea is simple: rather than a garment’s story ending at checkout, information about how and where it was made stays connected to that specific piece, accessible directly from the garment itself. Part of what we’re building is the ability for a garment’s history to continue with it through a change of ownership — repairs, alterations, and new owners becoming part of its story rather than the end of it. This is part of Physalia’s longer-term direction and is still developing.

Yes, on a limited basis. Made-to-measure is not Physalia’s primary focus, but select commissions are accepted when production schedules allow. Availability is limited, and we are not always able to take on new commissions — please contact us to inquire.

Physalia is currently offered in US women’s sizes 2, 4, and 6. Additional sizing will be introduced as the brand grows.

Physalia’s material language is built around natural fibers, primarily silk and lace, chosen for drape, strength, and longevity. As the collection evolves, additional natural materials will be introduced, each selected with the same commitment to craftsmanship, durability, and refined construction.

Physalia garments should be professionally dry cleaned. For storage, keep pieces away from prolonged direct sunlight and store in a breathable garment bag where possible, to preserve fabric integrity and finish over time.

Physalia works with wholesale partners across Canada and internationally. Direct purchases are available by inquiry when inventory permits, and international shipping may be arranged on request, subject to destination-specific shipping regulations, duties, taxes, and import requirements. Unless otherwise agreed, any applicable duties and taxes are the responsibility of the customer.

Wholesale orders are produced against confirmed purchase orders rather than held as inventory. Standard lead time is approximately 7–9 weeks from order confirmation, covering sourcing, construction, finishing, and quality control.

Physalia does not currently offer alterations after purchase.

Because most Physalia garments are produced in limited quantities or against confirmed orders, all direct sales are considered final unless an item arrives damaged or has a verified manufacturing defect. If you experience an issue with your order, please contact us promptly and we’ll work with you to determine an appropriate resolution.
